Dr Karen Pettigrew
Dentist
Dr. Karen graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2006 and went on to gain Membership with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2008. It was then that she relocated and fell in love with Cairns, where she has called home ever since.
She enjoys being an all round family dentist and her commitment to continual learning lead her to attain a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology in 2017. This has allowed her to pursue a passion for providing dental implant treatment, offering her patients effective solutions for tooth replacement.
Dr. Karen has enjoyed being able to give back to the dental profession and from 2012-2016 supervised undergraduate dental students at JCU. She also served as President of the Australian Dental Association FNQ sub branch from 2019-2021.
When she’s not at work, Dr. Karen is kept busy by her two young boys, who bring joy and energy to her life. Her dedication to both her career and family allows her to maintain a well-rounded and fulfilling lifestyle. Dr. Karen is committed to providing exceptional care while balancing the demands of her personal life with her professional expertise.
